So how many of you are actively using social engineering techniques?

I ask people for passwords and they give them to me.

So now that I've read the actual article, I did call up GameStop and lie about purchasing some dlc content and not receiving it for a Dragonball Z game. Oh yeah. Hardcore hacker.

Not really social engineering, but I used to work with a guy who ordered a $300 watch online and received a $1500 watch instead. He called them up about the mistake and they told him just to keep it.
More recently my girlfriend bought a $150 watch online from Wal-mart, they sent her a Surface RT instead. She tried calling them up and telling them that they sent the wrong item, but they didn't believe her. I guess they thought she was trying to run some type of scam on them?
