Which 4TB for NAS?
My currrent NAS is an Arch Linux HP Microserver 36L machine. It currently has 2 Hitachi 5K3000 2TB drives in MD RAID-1 format.
I'm looking to upgrade to 4TB drives and requesting feedback on models.
I have looked at Backblaze July 2015 hard drive reliability report (https://www.backblaze.com/blog/hard-drive-reliability-stats-for-q2-2015/) and it seems the Hitachi 4TB drives still have the lowest MTBF ratio.
