Hi people,
I really want to get into Cyber Security/forensics and im looking at 4 courses which are
CEH – Certified ethical hacker
CHFI Computer hacking forensics investigator
CompTIA security
CompTIA Advanced security practitioner
Theres a deal on Groupon where you get the training for these fro £40 down from 2k which is what i chose them, but from researching they seem like good entry level exams to take
I currently work in IT but have no network or security experience, however i know the basics and like tcp/ip etc and am aware of different types of attack, ive just completed the Open University Future Learn course on Introduction to Cyber security
But i just wondered what would be the best order to take these course in?
Many thanks
Matt

Ok thanks for the advise, why skip the practitioner one out of interest? -

The CASP is not well recognized outside of DoD. Unlike other exams which can be pure MCQ, some find CASP exam difficult due to the simulation based questions.
CEH (and CHFI) is quite well marketed. Most HR department know of CEH and some uni allow CEH/CHFI as a subject credit for their Master's program. -
