Problems with CCP

I start with GNS3 ,,,it was ok but when I go to check on Security or IDS it takes along time then its says that ((the connection has been lost ))
I bought a router Cisco 871 ,, and I have the same problem
should I configure the firewall on the router first ?? and suggestions please

Just got it guys
The problems is when you go to manage community and use username and password DONT CHECK ((CONNECT SECURITY ))
