reading the last few lines.. does it really work??

my instuctor told me that u can read the last few lnies of the longer ms questions and usually answer the question correctly


does this really work or should I read the entire question unless I'm getting strapped for time??

    well yes and no.

    There are a lot of questions that i could answer by the last few sentences, but alternatively many questions require some small detail found in the whole paragraph.

    So its best to read the whole question

    I usually give similar, but different advice for MS questions. Start with the last sentences (the actual question), and then read the question from the start. This will help you find out what exactly in the question is essential info, and what is fluff. Read the following topic for some more tips:

    Regardless, always read the question entirely. There's often one or two things in the text that changes everything and dictates the answer.
