Any ideas for an "isp" in gns3??
Robbo777
Hi, I have configured 2 different site networks in gns3 with vlans etc... Both sites connect through a serial link but i also want to create an "isp" or "internet" cloud where the user's on 2 sites can ping out to an Internet address such as 8.8.8.8 and have it reply! What is the best way to do this?? Would a router with a cloud symbol be my best bet with a loopback interface of 8.8.8.8?? Need some help and advice here.

In that video he chooses his own NIC in the menu but I can't do that on mine. It only allows for the generic "local area connection" option.
Any ideas?

That "local area connection" should be your physical NIC. Here's another way to do it by bridging your physical NIC with a MS loopback interface:
