ISACA Membership Dues for 2016 increased by more than 50%

ISACA is now charging $135 for 2016 membership fees while last year it was 85$. The excludes any local chapter charges.

    You should review your bills for last year.

    Last year I paid 170 $ (new member) this year my dues are 160$.

    @wd40 if i remember, for new members there are some extra charges and it also depends if you are applying online or via paper application and also depend upon your local chapter. For some region there is no fees.

    For old member, excluding local chapter and considering online membership renewal the fees is 135$ as compared to 85$ last year.

    I think $85 is half year fee, it depends on when you join as a new member

    I paid $135 basic membership fee when I joined April this year.
    Not including local chapter and $10 new member fee.

    Guess $85 is special fee for senior members like riyan.

    I joined 3/2014 and also paid $135 base + the $50 Chicago chapter dues +$10 new online member. Never saw any value so I didn't renew.

    It make sense to pay if you are taking ISACA exams; exam fees and study materials are cheaper.
    And I guess also if you have ISACA certs and need them for work.

    Guess you need to attend some of monthly local chapter events to get the value back.

    I will cancel my 99% useless* IEEE / Computer society subscription and renew the less useless* ISACA membership, I might go for CISM next year.

    @riyan .. I think you can check your purchase history on ISACA's site, can you please check, now I really want to know if prices increased ..

    I mixed up ISACA membership dues with ISC2 dues.....
    Now considering to hire an accountant who will keep track of my dues with various certification bodies as well as various CPE hours.

    There is no change or increment in ISACA membership dues for 2016......

    Big money spinner, you can pay your certification renewal for $45 and not pay the massive membership fee.

    But if you are not a member they charge $85 to renew your certification.

    Humm, didn't notice too much last year but it is total of 210 for me! Might consider paying only the certification fee rather than the full lot.
