in Linux+
Hello everyone!
Can you give me some orientation?
Is LPIC "101" and "102" no longer active?
Is it "103" and "104" now?
And does 103 and 104 also convalidate for CompTIA Linux+?
A little bit lost, yet I want to take those tests soon.
Thank you!

Passing both CompTIA exams first still applies for additional LPIC-1 and SUSE CLA certification.timku.com(puter) | ProHacker.Co(nsultant) | ITaaS.Co(nstultant) | ThePenTester.net | @fuz1on

I think I'm a little bit lost.
The 103 and the 104 are from CompTIA?
I pass those, and then get the LPIC-1?
How do I get the LPIC-2?
Thanks fuz1on! -

LPI only has a deal with CompTIA for the Linux + / LPIC-1. If you schedule your tests for CompTia's LX103+LX104, you just have to check a box, when you go through the initial agreements at the testing center, to forward your scores to LPI. You will then get your LPIC-1 once they receive your scores from CompTIA.
LPIC-2 requires 2 exams as well, but there is no agreement with CompTIA for this certification: https://www.lpi.org/certification/get-certified-lpi/lpic-2-linux-network-professional/ -

creativeLiquid Member Posts: 24 ■□□□□□□□□□Hello guys,
What should I study for the LX0-103?
My study materials are for the LX0-101...
Yet when I check online in CompTIA's website, I don't have a much info on what exam has what information. -
creativeLiquid Member Posts: 24 ■□□□□□□□□□Hello everyone,
I am lost on this.
Is the LPIC-1 and 2 exams phased out?
You can no longer take them?
Do you take LPIC-3 in order to get CompTIA's Linux+ Cert? -
fuz1on Member Posts: 961 ■■■■□□□□□□@creativeLiquid: LPIC-1, LPIC-2 and LPIC-3 are all different exams - each a higher level.
LPIC/CompTIA have partnered up so if you take LX0-103/104 - you get Linux+, LPIC-1 and SUSE/Novell CLA. LX0-101/102 were the previous versions of the exam that were phased out.timku.com(puter) | ProHacker.Co(nsultant) | ITaaS.Co(nstultant) | ThePenTester.net | @fuz1on

I think my doubt is I am not sure what study materials I need.
Or for what test.
The test I bought the voucher for is:
CompTIA Linux+ Powered by LPI Voucher
So I reckon I have to study for: LPIC-1 101 and 102?
Thank you! -
fuz1on Member Posts: 961 ■■■■□□□□□□No - just for LPIC-1 which is two exams LX0-103 and LX0-104.
