QoS System

IntServ specifies a fine-grained QoS system, which is often contrasted with DiffServ's coarse-grained control system.

What is a fine grained QoS system?

Fine grained means tight control, intServ uses a signalling to reserve bw during connection establishment, DiffServ approximates by reserving bw statically via configuration. IntServ will therefore have tight control on its bw reservation.
Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$
