Good day everyone,

I find that IT podcasts, specifically security podcasts are not only entertaining, they help me greatly with on-job tasks and personal endeavors. This post is to try to find some more favorites within the security podcast realm.
These are the best I have found so far:
  • Defensive Security
  • Hak5
  • Security Now
  • Risky Business
  • Security Weekly
  • Threat Post
  • Cyber Jungle
  • 2600
I normally listen to my podcasts using Stitcher and/or YouTube.

If there is some good ones I am missing, please educate me.

If you had to pick 1 or 2, which would it be?

Between Howard Stern and Artie Lange, my audio listening is pretty booked up. However I would like to listen to a Security Podcast.

Defensive Security/Risky Business - Covers all the news for the week in the security world, only real difference is one is located in Australia (Risky business).
Hak5 (Video or podcast) - This one is best if you are at a workstation and ready to hack stuff. Very solid knowledge base, however, the video is much more helpful.

If I had to pick 1, it would be security weekly. Guys on there are super knowledgeable. They have worked in the trenches in the IT security industry.

These are the ones I listen to:
    1. Risky Business
    2. Southern Fried Security
    3. Info Risk Today
    4. Cert Podcast Series
    5. Defensive Security
    6. Security Weekly

If I had to pick only one... It would be Defensive Security for sure.

Will definitely check into some of these. I have been meaning to start listening to podcasts rather than filling my background noise up with youtube videos.

I have listened to almost all of the security weekly episodes (I am sure I have missed a few). I have learned a lot from them and they are all about 45-60 minutes so it makes it easy to keep up to date.

Its the only tech related pod cast in my PC app.
