Question regarding CISA

I am new to the forum and have a question regarding CISA.

Is it a requirement to attend a class to prepare for the CISA or is it okay to self-study for the exam? Please advise

    it depends on your personal learning curve and willingness to spend additional $$. I self studied my cissp and cisa exams.

    There are also local chapters for isaca that you can go to and they can help you out.

    No, there is no requirement like that. The study and preparation methods you use are solely up to you.
