CCENT Switching question

I'm studying for the CCENT. 2 2950's each set with three vlans. I have a few ethernet cables connecting them, one is trunking, all the other ports are set to access mode. Switch1 all the lights other than the trunk port are amber but Switch2 they're all green. What would be causing this?

Sounds like STP has placed some ports into blocking mode. This is normal.
