m using a laptop i have internet access on the laptop, also i have a pc with the same wep key as the laptop.the pc is about 15feet away from the laptop, both report an excellant signal from the same access point/router, but the pc cannot get onto the internet,im using the hex 26 character in both client utilitys.

The PC needs to be on the same IP subnet as the access point. Is the access point a DHCP server? Is the PC setup to receive its network information from a DHCP server? Make sure the IP configuration is correct.

Also, do you have any other wireless security active, like MAC filtering? If so you'll need to add the PC's MAC address to the access point's filter list like you did for your laptop.
