Had a job interview...awaiting results

I had a job interview for a Computer Forensics position within law enforcement in the UK. They tackle some pretty high-profile crimes that end up on national TV so i'm really hoping I get it. There was an exam in which I needed to hit over 70% to be eligible for the job and I personally think that I hit around 80%.
The interview itself seemed to go quite well, but I think I might have accidentally said too much... They asked my current salary, so I told them, and they probed me to see if i'd be prepared to take a drop because it'd be my first digital forensics role. I told them how i'd be prepared to take a drop, as i'd been looking for a forensics job for a while and some companies i've interviewed for were paying very, very low - so much so, i've had to turn them down. I named a few companies i'd interviewed for, and it turns out that the guys interviewing me knew some of my connections.
So i've either messed up a little by telling them i've been after a digital forensics job for a while, and mentioning the companies I went for, or i've made them see how determined I am and that I have good contacts within the industry...
I'll update this when I get the results. I'm told i'll have them within a week.
