L2VPN - Does it include Internet?

I understand that from a customer perspective, the service provider is like a virtual switch (same subnet) when an L2VPN is being provisioned.
In that case, can a customer request for L2VPN + internet?

Or can a customer only get internet if he subscribes to L3VPN (routing + different subnet)?
