CISSP CBK 8 Domains

Hi All,

I have just started exploring on CISSP certification. As per the (ISC)² website, there will be 8 domains. However most of the books recommended have 10 domains.

Has the domains list been recently updated?
If so, which books should I read considering the new domains?
Also, my understanding is that if I give CISSP exam today, I will be tested mainly on these 8 domains?

Check out posts of people who have passed for resources.

From what people have said the change is mainly cosmetic...different domain names, condensed into less domains, etc.

Previous 10 domain material is suppose to still be relevant and accurate.

Yes, new CISSP 8 domain CBK for exams from mid April this year. The previous CBK was 10 domains.

For books with 10 domains, updated editions are coming out. For example.Eric Conrad's CISSP 3rd edition book should be out by end this year. Check the forum threads for more details including book recommendations.
