Review CCNA before CCNP
jciz75
I received my CCNA a number of years ago and kept it valid by obtaining my CCNA-Voice, and CCNA-Security certifications. I am now preparing to get my CCNP but need to know if I should do a thorough review on the current CCNA material before I start my CCNP studies? If so, would the udemy class be enough of a refresher, or do I need to read the books?

Depends on how comfortable you feel with the objectives. If you are kind of iffy then go over the basics before diving too deep.

Unless you have just forgotten most of the NA materials, I'd avoid reviewing those materials. The NP materials will help refresh what you may have forgotten(or thought you forgot) and expound from there. IMO you should be fine.
