Starting MS-ISA at WGU in December

I recently made the decision to go back to school for a master's to open up some additional career opportunities now and in the future, as well as general academic progression. I was already somewhat familiar with WGU due to how many posts I've seen over the years as a member here, and I still learned quite a bit more about the school during the application process and intake interview. I chose the Information Security and Assurance program to compliment my current career role, and because it's a nice little bonus that there are two certifications that are part of the program.

I'm not entirely sure how the admissions are in general, but I used an official college transcript (a couple bachelor's degrees from a brick/mortar university), official Cisco certificate verification (I had this submitted to WGU via Cisco in the same screen where you have the options for Cert. Fullfillment, etc online), and my work experience as a security analyst presently. I got the impression that either of the three categories can be used but I'm not entirely sure which one helped me the most.

I applied to a few other online programs, but one thing that really stuck out to me was the polish behind WGU's admission process, including the online portals for managing Financial Aid and the fact that you are provisioned with a Google account almost immediately. I realize these points might seem kind of minor, but the reality of the situation is that many schools are still running backend software like PeopleSoft to manage admissions (like most of the other programs I applied to), which is almost a crime from a user interface perspective and is pretty much antiquated technology at this point.

I'm looking forward to starting and possibly hearing from anyone else that might be starting in December.
