Howdy, folks.
Has anyone been through the SANS MSIE program? I'm looking into it after I complete my bachelor's degree, but I'm a little hesitant about having to present at SANS conferences. Here's a following excerpt from the program webpage:
"Students use research material written from previous courses in the curriculum to build and deliver a 40-minute presentation, delivered either at a SANS Residential Institute/instructional event or via an online delivery mechanism."
I've never presented at a conference before so I'm looking for input and experiences with this.
Thanks.

Danielm7 Member Posts: 2,310 ■■■■■■■■□□There are a few threads I've seen on it here. The general consensus seems to be something along the lines of us all knowing SANS offers great training, but no one has heard of their MS program, so 48K (if I'm remembering correctly) is way too high for that. I believe someone was doing it, you'd have to search, but the choice of paying roughly the same for a SANS degree vs something like an MS fromCarnegie Mellon wasn't really a great ROI.
