Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst NOVA area

Responsibilities:
Produces detailed intelligence analysis reports on cyber threats, to include those linked to cyber espionage, cyber crime, and other malicious actors. Fuses data from multiple technical and non-technical sources to create concise analytic reports. Uses tools and other resources to extract and analyze technical indicators associated with malware and its employment. Identifies and tracks cyber espionage and criminal cyber threat activities. Uses visualization tools and other technologies to map groupings of cyber threat activities. Identifies analytic gaps and develops detailed requests for data collection in support of gaps. Evaluates cyber threat information from multiple sources and provides feedback to improve technical systems and methods used for collecting cyber threat data.

Qualifications:
Minimum of three years producing intelligence analysis, to include strategic analysis of cyber threats. Knowledge of standards of intelligence analysis tradecraft. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing. Ability to communicate objective analysis and logical argumentation in writing. Expertise in one or more cyber threat areas. Knowledge of how multiple types of malware operate and are employed against victims. Experience using tools to extract indicators from malware. Experience using technical information to bolster intelligence analysis. Experience using analytic visualization and big data consumption tools. Experience using open source and paid services for cyber threat intelligence information. Ability to write scripts/programs to facilitate analysis. Ability to identify and articulate analytic gaps in writing.
