a few questions about asa's

I'm looking to upgrade the software on some asa's to use in a lab. I was looking to do this on some asa5505's. I was wonder if I should upgrade this to the lastest available version. Or, should I upgrade it to the version that is for the test? And, could anyone tell me the version the is on the new test?

I think with the old test it tested for asa version 8.6. I looked at the exam topics for the new test and it refers to 9.x. And, the latest version for a 5505 is 9.2.3 So, I guess the latest version will be just fine.
anyone know the latest version for 5510?
