Scheduled the 74-409!

December 18th, 9 AM. I work with Hyper-V/SCVMM/SC* every day, so I'm not thinking it's going to be too bad, but still going to study for a couple weeks to make sure I know as much as I can. Only thing that's going to worry me is the SCDPM and the iSCSI stuff because we don't use DPM and iSCSI is something I've done when I needed to but I'm sure I didn't do it "correct" according to the book :P

Now... to the books!

It was a poorly worded expression :P I have a few links, but I will probably be using this post from this forum quite a bit. I've seen the information/links/articles replicated on a few other guides, so figured might as well use this one from this fine community

I honestly don't know that I'm going to be doing a lot of in-depth (book) reading for this, mostly technet and a few others here and there.

Best of luck! I passed the 409 last year using the MVA course (watched twice to make sure it stuck) and those very technets

I'm studying for this now. Hoping to take it in January. I couldn't find any real books for this exam so thanks for the link. I'll be using technet as well along with the mastering 2012 r2 book.

Thanks guys! At the beginning of the week, I was really annoyed that I didn't schedule it for this week... A 11:30PM-4AM Sunday down, then a Severity 1 incident, and so much other crap, and I'm glad I had another week in there

I am in the middle of setting up SCDPM to play around with, so we'll see how that goes, probably watch the MVA pieces on that as well just to help me out.
