I just came across this last night, and as a future WGU student, this is a pretty good opportunity.
StraighterLine offers online classes that directly (and guaranteed) transfer to several universities, including WGU. There's even a chart that shows which classes there transfer to their equivalent at WGU and other schools.
It's mostly gen-ed classes, they only have an Intro to IT class and a C++ class in their IT section. However, it's a viable option to quickly take and finish general classes.
Pricing is $99/month membership, and $49 per class. The FAQ says a majority of classes can be started and finished in a month. Most students take 3 classes in a month.
Also, there is some kind of "scholarship" or tuition credit you can get for transferring your credit into WGU. A discount on the first semester tuition, I believe. I didn't read much into that last night.
