Hi,

Can some one tell me (or give me a link to the documentation) as to what the two different graphic memory settings are for a VM?

WE run sVGA on Nvida graphic cards will with all the drivers installed and it seems to work OK, just never really got what the two different values are.

First is "Total Video Memory"
Second is "3D Memory"

how do they relate to each other, cant seem to clearly find the documentation in Vmware KB?

The values are the same and should be set to the same value. Basically one is the L3 cache memory for short-term cache on the GPU and the other is meant for storing the graphics in the GPU.

It's best to give it the same value, can you mess with them but it's generally a good status quo to keep them the same.
