McAfee ACE questions

Hey guys and girls. Just a quick one, has anyone done this certification or can offer more information on it? My manager for the next job I am going to reached out asking if I would like to go down this route when I start my new job as they are pushing it to the businesses they support. My role will be more server and network admin type work so do you think it's a good path to go down? I've not dealt with McAfee products for a long time, everywhere I've worked in the last 5 years has used Kaspersky.

If work is paying for it, sure, why not. I'm all for freebie personal and professional development. I'm not exactly a huge McAfee fan, but I definitely don't want a Russian AV firm in my company...........

I've been working with McAfee SIEM, ePO, HDLP, NDLP and virus scan; I honestly don't see a benefit to their certification at least on my part of the world.

Thanks for the replies guys, I looked into it and not that bothered tbh but if they are paying then why not. Just don't know anyone that has gone down this track before and wondered if any here had.

The knowledge and the training is very good...I actually have another McAfee HDLP training (work paid for it) coming next year.
