Windows Server 2008: after 'Preparing your desktop" screen goes Solid Blue...
So tonight I had the lovely pleasure of having a near blood pressure elevation at 4:40 pm. Why do these issues always happen just when I'm about to leave?

Anyways, to save others from pain, if you ever get this issue, just create a new Domain/Enterpise level account or have once created at all times that you NEVER use and log into the server and then apply this hotfix:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2590550
Once you apply the hotfix, and reboot you will be able to login.
gosh that was an hour of stress I didn't want, and it happens on a critical server too, I was like
