can you connect a 2521 router to switch

is it possible to connect a cisco 2521 router to any cisco switch it has 4 serial and 1 tr and 1 bri and can it be connected to cable broadband modem????????? icon_confused.gif: icon_confused.gif:

    No, you can't connect it to just any Cisco switch -- it would have to be a Token Ring switch like the 3920.

    As for connecting it to a cable broadband modem.... you'd need a bridge to convert between Token Ring and Ethernet -- or a Router like a 2513 to route between Ethernet and Token Ring Segments.

    But the 2521s are great for a Cisco Lab -- I just got 5 more for $80, including the shipping, off of eBay. I didn't really need 5 more 25xxs, but I couldn't pass them up at that price.
