    Damn! That sucks! I'm so sorry you had to go through that...

    The worst part is I failed by the equivalent of the points for one more correct answer which was probably all the work I lost during the Windows glitch/freeze. Well, I guess it's better than failing by .001 of an answer like I did in September.

    LOL. Not sure if that's sarcasm, but there is nothing cutting edge about a generic dell desktop. I find some of the certs I get mailed to me sharp enough to cut me from the edges though.

    ICND1 didn't freeze on me, but I had an issue with the test engine that set me back a month and a half for ICND2 before those clowns got me a voucher.

    Blasphemy! You have to struggle with Dell computers? The eMachines and Gateways I've tested on are so fast I wonder why they aren't serving enterprises! No, really I don't think it's all a hardware issue, how much power should it take to a load a simple simulator? Cisco sims are notorious for being really slow, I suspect the code has a lot to do with it.

    Watch out for those certs. They've been deemed deadly weapons in 7 states and in legislation in many more.

    That's pretty new for a test center. I took a couple of Microsoft exams in 2012 and the Prometric test centers (2 different test centers) were running Windows 2000 and the towers looked like they were just as old as the OS. I don't remember for sure what my Cisco exams were using (2013-2015), though I'm thinking Windows XP. I do remember the screens being so small that when I did TSHOOT, I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why the correct technology wasn't a choice, only to realize that there was one more choice just past the bottom of the screen and I had to scroll down to see it.

    Hidden answers has happened to me on some tests too, I think some of the cisco's. They use a very low resolution but apparently not low enough for one tester. While I was taking what I think was my first ICND2 a fellow tester couldn't read the screen. A test center support guy was trying to fix it while on the phone with pearson vue. It was a pretty big distraction and I kept thinking of ways to fix it. Turns out the test program controls it all and doesn't react to resolution or dpi changes, nor can it be magnified per pearson rules. Tester was sent home and hopefully refunded. If this was indeed the first ICND2, I ended up failing but at no cost to me, WGU. Otherwise I would have asked pearson vue for a refund.
