Critque of Resume

Hi All,

I have been applying for entry level help desk, desktop support and PC technician positions recently, but I have not been getting any call backs since the summer time. Was wondering if I can get a critique of my resume and any other suggestions would be appreciated. I am currently in school full time which explains no job position at the moment. Thanks in advance.

If you are looking for help desk jobs, I would leave out the Security Guard, Merchandising and Web Developer positions. It's more things the hiring guy has to filter out.

Also it seems like you're grabbing at any software you can to list as a technical proficiency, almost as if to make the resume longer. There is no need to explain that Office contains Word, Excel, Etc.

If the redundant/unnecessary info makes the resume seem barren, expand a little on the Education section. Maybe a brief explanation why you went back to school for IT. Under the certification section you could list what certs you have in progress (aka plan to take). A "summary" section would be a good addition as well.
