I work at a real estate company ( about 6,000 employees ) as a help desk employee. Actually got the job after I lost my last position as a NOC Analyst. So this company they do have network engineering positions but when I talked to the VP he said he was looking for people with experience.
Ok I got an associates in electronics and CCNA, CCNP. Since most of my 10 year career has been helpdesks and technical support how do I gain networking experience in order to bag a position as a network administrator/engineer?

I work for a leasing mall company and I offer help desk any experience they want if they are willing to learn. Makes my life easier and helps their career.
