What before OSCP training and exam?

Hi!
I am new on this forum and I would like to say "Hello"!.
So, I want to begin my OSCP certifcation from March, but I would like to start preparation right now!
I have downloaded a lot of intentionally vulnerable VM such as vunhub.com,
I have done Kioptrix, De-ICE, CTF LAMP and Brainpan challenges. Does this VM are as difficult as VM within OSCP exam?
What else except that VMs which I have mentioned may I try? Some suggestions please?

What else regarding to more practical training? I mean not like a Metasploitable but like a PwnOS or Pentester Labs.
