CCIE R&S roadmap advice
Fox32
Hello Cisco lovers!
I'll do my introduction and my question both in one post (BAM!)
I'm working around 8 years in the IT networking branch, which 3 years in Cisco solutions. I'm always eager to learn and investing a lot of time in myself (knowledge and experience). Most of the time I have worked in a service provider environment, most in a BGP with vrf's in a MPLS situation.
I got my CCNA, CCNP R&S and even JNCIA.
The thing is, (and here is also my advice question) I'm dealing with not enough work experience to call me a CCNP -+ engineer. But I'm bit more advanced then a CCNA engineer. As my ambition grows for more knowledge and more complex challenges, i have started to go on the CCIE R&S while at the same time building work experience.
The strategy to do this is to:
CCIE R&S written and pass it twice
Getting one this year, and then passing it again, at this way i'll will focus deeply on as much topics as i can.
CCNA Datacenter
Getting more hardware/equipment knownledge.
F5/Loadbalancer certs
Gain more knownledge how to build more customer solutions and take my networking skills to a broader level then just R&S/cisco.
CCIE R&S LAB
After two years, i want to face this. Exploring the true challenge of my inner self.
Let me state this clear!
I'm not in for the money (well not yet, i guess mariage can change that :P), however i want to learn and to make my self more adaptive/experienced for networking jobs.
Any advice would be highly appricated!
