Writing Exam soon - Sample Question thoughts
Hi all,
I am writing the exam this Thursday and have a sample question ... I don't think anyone is breaking their NDA by answering:
You have an issue in the company where a workers computer was used for an illegal activity. The worker denies that it was them and explained that their computer is always unattended when they leave for bathroom breaks or lunch etc. You should do the following to BEST prevent this from occurring again:
1) Implement a screen lockout time on the computers throughout the company.
2) Force implementation of the screen lockout time through Group Policies that are pushed down whenever a user logs into the system.
3) Implement screen savers on the company computers that advertise "it is illegal to use this computer unless you are an authorized user".
4) Implement a management approved "Acceptable Use Policy".
Which would you pick related to the exam and why? I am sure that #4 looks appealing, however, there is no mention of the Policy being continuously enforced, and if the screen lockout was implemented then the issue would be resolved at the source and guaranteed to be enforced.
I guess the real question is: How do you know what assumptions to make during the exam when faced with questions like this?
