passing score??
im a bit confused here. the micheal myers book says this:
"you must score at least a 646 on a scale of 100-900"
"contains 72 questions"
yet, on this site, it says:
"Number of questions: 85"
"Passing score: 554 (scale 100-900)"
i like the second one MUCH better. please tell me its the real one...
and in the micheal myers book, he states the book covers all of the things from the latest test, the 2005 revision.
and on the comptia main site, they dont tell you the passing score.
so which is it??

this dude passed with a 568...so im assuming mike myers made a typo or is trying to get everyone to study harder!!
hmmm, not sure i agree with that, if it was intentional, that is.
but i am glad to see the passing score is lower, and the number of questions is higher. much relieved. -
Matt_Smi Member Posts: 111 ■■■□□□□□□□The current passing score is 554, if I am not mistaken, 646 was the passing score for the older exam N10-002.

The scoring info on our Network+ is taken directly from the CompTIA website. I.o.w. yes, the score is available in the Network+ section at comptia.org:
