ITIL Lifecycle certificate - exam only

Hi there

The company is work for are putting on an internal course that provides the required knowledge to take the ITIL Lifecycle Certificate (in this case for Service Transition) exam

It seems difficult to find test centres that do the exam only:

Is it possible to just do the exam only for this Lifecycle certificate? As I do not want to pay for a whole course when I am being provided with one at work.

If so, can anyone point me in the direction of a UK based company that do these exams, preferrably in the North?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help with this!

Hi JethroTull, the exam scheme rules for ITIL don't allow you to take an intermediate level exam (lifecycle or capability) unless you've taken an accredited course. Once you've taken an accredited course (online, virtual or in a classroom) you can then purchase the exam. Some exam institutes have test centres that operate in the north of England, but you might also want to look at the web-cam invigilated exams that you can sit in your office or at home.
