home hardware lab, 2 or 3 switches

I see lots of certification lab kit builders selling ccna labs with just 2 switches. And, I've seen on the forum recommendations for having 3 switches for doing STP labs.
Of course, more is better, we all have priorities on what we spend our money.
So, should a ccna lab have 3 switches or is two good enough?

I would just get 3 or however many you need to follow along with the lab manual you are using. If you are not planning to go further than CCNA you can get some real cheap switches to use. If you do plan to go further then it would be wise to invest into something more expensive which will do future labs as well.
