Cert expire question

does MCP expires the same way as MCSA/MCSE?
(eg: if MCSA/MCSE 2003 expires, 70-270 also expires). icon_confused.gif

The exam itself may at some point be retired, but the certification is for life.

so do we get separate certificates for every individual MCP exams that we have cleared?

I believe you get one for your first, giving you MCP status, and then one for each subsequent full cert such as MCSA, but not each individual exam....

which means I do not get any certificate if I pass the 2nd MCP exam?
I thought somehow they will provide some kind of prove to show that we have cleared the 2nd and subsequent MCP? Otherwise, it will be a tough time to convince some employers for certain cases.

well you do have the exam results that are given to you after you pass/fail an exam.
plus if you logon to the MCP member site, you can view your transcript, which shows all the exams you've passed. and you can print it too.

and just to confirm, you don't receive any other sort of MCP certificates after your first. until you've gained a full cert, you can do as many mcp exams as you want, you'll still have only one mcp cert. and they never expire.
