I'm considering taking the CISSP this year. I've started listening to the Cybrary course to get a feel.
Is Shon Harris' book still considered the gold standard? I've been told it's like reading an encyclopedia, which makes me less than excited to read it. I've heard good things about Eric Conrad's book as well.

Many TE users have success with the Sybex CISSP 7th edition official study guide and Eric Conrad 3rd edition.
Take note to get the correct edition.
