VMWare 5.5 Format Question

Prepping for the VCP550PSE test, I cannot seem to locate information on how the test is formatted. While in class for example, we had labs which simulated a server and completed tasks. Is this type of work something I should focus on while making sure I am ready for the test. So what I am asking is: is the test simple multiple choice/category stuff OR does it include labs?
