Days? People study for months! Not many can do in days, unless you have a lot of experience and free time on your hand. Least I've seen is 2-3 weeks studying 8 hours daily. Slow and steady wins the race with CISSP.

This is true. I pushed back other work and did 8-12 hours a day for a month and only scored 638. I have about 5 years of Crypto experience Do not underestimate the difficulty of CISSP

Completely depends on your background, I took less time than many but I had a pretty well rounded background that wasn't 100% security tech focused. That helped me answer more of the non-technical questions because a lot of them aren't very strict high-level tech questions. I've heard of people who have been security engineers for 10+ years who failed after studying for a year because they focused on only the technical details.

Like any other test, there really is no answer that applies to you directly. It's all about your background, how you study, how you take tests, etc.
