If you were gonna buy a router, which one?

If you were going to buy two routers to study for the CCNA exam, which two would you buy if you were on a budget. Sybex says 2500 or 2600 series, but which models? There's so many! Say you were workin' with a $300 budget and shopping for used; what would you buy?
