Restarting a service automatically

Hey guys, long time no see. I'm wondering if anyone knows this off the top of their head because google turned up nothing.

I have a service set up with recovery options. First and second time it restarts, 3rd time it does nothing. I have it reset the count after 1 day. Does that mean that 24 hours after the 1st recovery it will be reset? Or does it reset nightly at midnight (or some other time).

I do know that a reboot also resets the count.
