WGU BS:IT Networking

A warning to those currently enrolled in this programming looking to continue on to the MS. Per the Masters enrollment staff yesterday, The BS:IT Networking will no longer qualify you for their Masters program. The only degree path that will allow you into the Masters without the resume review or having one of the listed certs is the BS:IT Security. I confirmed with the enrollment counselor that it still represents both degree paths as crosswalks to the degree on the site and was told that it will be updating shortly.

For either of their MS programs? Guess I will just have to get the ECC stuff first.

Per enrollment BS:IT Security will be the only degree to pre-qualify moving forward, so the BS:IT Networking, BS:IT, BS: Software Development, B.S. Health Informatics, B.S. Business- IT Management degrees no longer qualify for the requirements for Masters.

Verified this today. Guess I will grab one (probably both) of the EC certs before applying.

BTW, the BSITNW still qualifies for the MS in IT management.
