70-290/70-291 Number of questions...

I am new to this site and I hope to become a regular as I am currently working on my MCSE. I am starting off with 290/291 exams and I wanted to know how much time is alotted for these exams and how many questions are they? I read some threads that said 43 questions? True? I bought the MCSE training books and I want to take some prac exams... anyone got a good idea where I can get some free prac exams? What's the transcender exams everyone talks about? Thanks for all the info and I welcome suggestions/advice anything.

my 290 had 44 questions with three hours and 5 minutes.
my 291 was 43 q's with i think the same amount of time.

transcenders are good but costly.
