About DVD-R and CD-R

Hello,
i am in a process of searching a software that can write or create a logo on the burned side of a dvd-r or cd-r media. Just like how the have a symbol on xbox games. The reason why i wan't this is so i can identify which one is my when i loan it out. any suggestions.

Normally you need a drive that supports lightscribe standards and lightscribe blanks. I have not heard of any software that works on the burned side probably because that would reduce the capacity of the drive based on the square inch angular area of the logo.

Check out lightscirbe technology here. It works of cd or dvd but is really only cost practicle for dvd which is just a few cents more per blank.
