Is it possible to configure a failover between a cisco ASA 5512 and ASA 5510?
rugg
I have a cisco ASA 5510. I now also have a ASA 5512. I would like to first, copy the
config onto my 5512 from my 5510 and make my 5512 the primary. Then make
my 5510 the secondary, my failover. Is this possible to do, between these 2
models?

I don't think this is possible as within a HA pair, you are required to have identicle software and hardware versions.

what if the software versions where the same? just not the model?..

Nope. They have to be identical.
