I have run into a question that I have seen on several practice exams. the question is: You download a file and command.com at the root becomes damaged. Where do you find a copy of command.com?

I am also wondering if command.com is kept at c:\windows\command.com and a copy is kept at c:\windows\system\command.com

The answer for the above question is c:\windows\system\command.com or is it?

Instead of answering, I'll just let you check your own hard drive. :) You will likely remember better if you uncover the answer yourself.
I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing.

That's the directory that the copy of command.com is in. Look through with explorer and you will see it there along with quite a few other DOS executables. There is also a sub-directory 'ebd' which holds files for creating the emergency boot disk.
