I will share this. I spent probably 30 hours studying crypto. I needed around 2.

Crypto isn't as big as it used to be on the exam. There are more questions about how it relates or enhances other topics, as opposed to straight up crypto questions. As for study material, check the pass threads for the Combined Notes.

Agreed - its the principles rather than the tables of key lengths etc that are more important. If you do want to memorize such material I'd recommend grouping those together which have the same features so that you can link them in your mind.
