CEH Help

Hello all,

I am about to start a part time job while still on Active Duty. Any recommendations on study materials for this cert. I know they changed a lot of it from V8 to V9. kind of nervous. Please analyze my current level and certs with degrees and tell me what I need to do to succeed at this exam. Any advice is much appreciated! I have to get it within 180 days of start date.

I think you should probably be ok. Basically, it's familiarity with tools, basics of architectures and various OSs, common exploits and vulnerabilities. Obviously you need to study some to ensure you have covered all the objectives. There are some materials just becoming available now.

180 days is a long time. You should be able to pass with OctalDump's post.

Studying for the CEH is going to be a breeze compared to studying for the CASP you have listed.

Thanks, I hope so. Going at it again, then CISSP this Fall. After, I plan on going the CISCO route. I plan to have CCIE in 3 years time frame.
