Did CCNA/CCNET get updated this year?

Hola!

I want to start studying for the CCNET/CCNA exams but I am finding all the materiel are from 2013 (books and videos). This concerns me since every 3 years Cisco updates their exam and I cannot find anything about this on the internet. Would anyone know if the exam was updated recently or when we should see the new updated exam come out?

No, the exam hasn't been updated recently, and the last refresh was 2013. Currently, there is no official word on the next refresh. There is usually a few months of cut over when both exams are running, to give people chance to complete.

They change the exam codes when they update the exams, and most books will have the exam code they relate to in the title. As far as I know, all official Cisco Press books have the exam code they are for right on the cover.

You need to look for books for:

200-120 CCNA (combined CCENT and CCNA R+S)
Or
100-101 ICND1 (CCENT)
200-101 ICND2 (CCNA R+S)

Despite the claims made by a certain training site, Cisco has updated the CCNA about every 4-6 years (The previous version ran from 2007-2013), not every 3. The last update was October 2013, so another update is not likely until 2017-2019.
